Poppyland Caravan Touring Park is an adults only caravan site which is surrounded by high hedges and mature trees making it a secluded and peaceful site with a quiet and tranquil atmosphere.


Puddleduck Self-Catering Holiday Cottage is a detached single storey cottage with a fully enclosed private garden. It is available for hire all year round.

Poppyland is set in 2 acres of grounds and situated in the middle of the picturesque village of Thorpe Market in North Norfolk.

Just 4 miles from Cromer, 8 miles from Sheringham, 18 miles from the historic city of Norwich and 12 miles from the Norfolk Broads..

Adjacent Thorpe Market village green on the A149 Cromer to North Walsham road.

The local bus stop is situated on the village green next to Poppyland driveway. There is a Route Map HERE.

Gunton Railway Station, approx 1 mile from Poppyland, is on the Bittern Line & links Norwich to Cromer & Sheringham.

The North Norfolk Quiet Lanes Project is nearby where walkers and cyclists are encouraged to use the quiet rural byways.


Poppyland Caravan Touring Park and Puddleduck Self-Catering Holiday Cottage are both sited to the rear of Poppyland Cottage which is a Grade II listed building and formerly the village post office and shop.

Poppyland proprietors, Billy & Pam, are resident in Poppyland Cottage and are on hand to welcome you upon arrival and to help you settle in.
If, at the end of a long journey, you dread reversing your caravan onto your pitch, Billy would be happy to do it for you. Just mention this at the time of booking, so that we can make sure he is here.

Dogs welcome at Poppyland Caravan Park Non-aggressive, well-behaved, dogs are very welcome to stay at both the Touring Park and Puddleduck Self-Catering Holiday Cottage. We welcome well behaved dogs at Poppyland
